NEW! Booking Categories Search and Organisational Pages

 

 

We've got a fancy new way for people to search for a venue on SpacetoCo! Instead of using 'activities', we have 'booking categories' that include searchable words like 'celebration', 'remote work' and 'meeting'. Hosts actively choose what categories to attach to their venues, which means hirers get more accurate results when they look for spaces for specific reasons.

 

Over the coming weeks, we'll roll out further support for these categories to allow for more broad search terms. For example, the booking category 'bachelorette party' will also be searchable under 'hens', or if someone searches for 'pickleball', they will also see tennis courts available.

 

A fancy new feature calls for a fancy new homepage! The SpacetoCo website has been updated to show these booking categories in action, plus our most popular spaces based on your location.

 

We've been working behind the scenes on organisation pages, a new experience for our larger customers. These are like 'profile pages' for hosts that display their logo, a 'bio', and all of their hireable venues, resources and associated peppercorn leases. Hirers can even search for venues on this specific page using booking categories! This page is super handy to redirect to from official websites, especially if people visit them first when looking to book their spaces.
