We want to send a friendly, advance reminder about the upcoming adjustment to the fee and for Casual Hosts, which takes effect in just a few weeks.
Starting December 1, 2025, the new fee for Casual Host bookings will be:
19.5% plus GST per booking
This new percentage is a consolidated fee and now includes the merchant fees, which simplifies your financial reconciliation. This adjustment helps us continue to invest in platform security, new features, and marketing to bring more hirers to your listings.
This change applies only to Casual Hosts—those who receive payments for bookings as they occur via a connected Stripe account.
Note: If you are a Partner or CouncilPro host and receive a monthly reconciled lump-sum payment, these changes do not apply to you.
For hosts who are ready to manage all of their bookings and invoices through SpacetoCo and have regular hirers, our Partner Tier offers a reduced rate starting from 16.5% which also includes all merchant fees.
The extra features available on our partner tier are designed for venues who want to get game changing efficiencies managing their bookings. If you're already consistently processing all your bookings through SpacetoCo or have a steady stream of regular hirers as well as casual hirers, becoming a Partner could help you save time and further grow your bookings.
